Susan Boyle Slays Again: Album Rebounces To #1, Kanye West Drops To #7
Susan Boyle's Album "The Gift " was the Number 1 album in the US this week, replacing Kanye West's My Beautiful Twisted Fantasty, which dropped to Number 7.
The holiday retail market catapulted several other albums ahead of West's in the top 10. Taylor Swift's Speak Now went from Number 3 to Number 2, 10-year-old opera singer Jackie Evancho's Christmas LP debuted at Number 3, and two Glee albums; a Christmas LP and volume 4 of the soundtrack series; debuted at Number 4 and Number 5, respectively.
The Black Eyed Peas The Beginning debuted at a surprisingly soft Number 6, and Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday, which came in at Number 2 last week, slipped to Number 8.

Rihanna's "Loud" Debuts at No. 3 On Billboard Charts...Susan Boyle Debuts at No. 1
The Bajan Princess's fifth album ‘Loud’ has debuted on the number three spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, behind Susan Boyle’s ‘The Gift’ and Jackie Evancho’s ‘O Holy Night', selling just over 200K.
Rihanna has sold 15 milliom albums world wide, having 8 number one singles in the U.S, however the singer has yet to register a number one on the Billboard 200 album chart, her closest being ‘Good Girl Gone Bad,’ which peaked at number two in 2007.
“Never have I ever stressed out on the first week,” Rihanna recently tells New York radio host Angie Martinez. “Ever since ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, the first week was like 160[,000], and it grew to sell nine million albums. The first week never determines what the success of the album will be.”
Susan Boyle Top UK Album Charts Yet Again
Simon Cowell just scored some more cash.
The former Britain's Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle has topped the UK album charts with her second album entitled "The Gift".
The Scottish singer entered the record books with her debut record I Dreamed A Dream, which was the fastest selling album by a UK female.
The record also had the most successful first week's sales of a UK debut album, shifting 411,820 copies.
