The Bajan Princess's fifth  album ‘Loud’ has debuted on the number three spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, behind Susan Boyle’s ‘The Gift’ and Jackie Evancho’s ‘O Holy Night', selling just over 200K.

Rihanna has sold 15 milliom albums world wide, having 8 number one singles in the U.S, however the singer has yet to register a number one on the Billboard 200 album chart, her closest being ‘Good Girl Gone Bad,’ which peaked at number two in 2007.

“Never have I ever stressed out on the first week,” Rihanna recently tells New York radio host Angie Martinez. “Ever since ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, the first week was like 160[,000], and it grew to sell nine million albums. The first week never determines what the success of the album will be.”
