In a lengthy interview with Katy Couric, Drake discusses his Jewish upbringing, Lil' Wayne, acting, favorite wines, his Aaliyah tribute, and his rise to stardom. He also answered questions (and several marriage proposals) posed by fans on Twitter.
One interesting moment occurred when Couric stopped Drake in the middle of praising Lil Wayne to mention New Orleans rapper's prison sentence.
Couric went on to ask Drake is opinion of Lil Wayne's recent solitary confinement, to which Drake replied:
"All legends have their [flaws]," Drake said. "It's definitely unfortunate what just happened [but] I think the most important thing is we're just counting down the days. It's not 150 days, not 200 days, not 800 days, it's 29 more days. ... We have our Miami Heat tickets together. I'm just waiting for my man to come home."
