Justin Bieber Should Talk and Sing In A High Pitch Range Like Michael Jackson, Says Record Producer Terry Riley

Jackson's longtime record producer Teddy Riley said the singer adopted a soft speaking voice on the advice of a coach.
"I experienced (Jackson's voice coach) Seth Riggs telling Michael not to speak low,'' Riley told the Sunday Herald Sun.
"He had to speak in a high pitch in order to have a high range.
"That's why Michael's range was always high when he spoke.
"It was a tip from the coach and very, very true.''
Riley said teenage pop star Justin Bieber should follow Michael's lead if he wants to maintain a bubblegum tone.
"Justin Bieber should talk in a high range. I hope somebody tells him,'' Riley said.
"Otherwise his voice will turn into something like Usher - low.''
Bieber, 16, is taking singing lessons because his voice is breaking.
"His voice is changing and he can really catch that and keep it high,'' Riley said.
"Now that he's hitting puberty, he better do something. If he goes low, he's going to lose his fans.''
Riley produced and tweaked tracks on Jackson's posthumous album, Michael.
He also produced Jackson's hit albums Dangerous and Invincible.
"Michael was very much a perfectionst. He never took shortcuts,'' Riley said.
"You had to give 150 per cent or he would send you back and re-do things until it was right.
"We didn't work long hours, we worked long days.''
Riley also reveals Jackson preferred to sing in the afternoon.
"His favourite time was 11am until about 5pm. He would not sing after 5pm or 6pm,'' Riley said.
"His spirit was up in the afternoons. It was the best time to work with him. After he got tired, that was it for singing.''
